gone after 2

days and it didn`t come back this year. Alos, this medicine don`t wipe you

out. I have the medicine but haven`t tried it. I had high fever the last few

days, and now the hay fever seems to have gone. That may be another cure.

Hare Krsna.

I wonder if Dr. Nerula also has different kind of herbs or if anyone knows

how to get the herb Gota Kola, also called hydrocotyle or umbelliterae.

Gota Kola, known as brahmi, is available in the west. Subal das knows

where they have it in Sweden.

------------------------------------------------------------

About two months ago I had been asked by the dentist whether I would like

to have an amalgam filling or a glass ceramic filling (I think the tech

name was "Dycon", or something very similar).

I chose the glass ceramic because of the weird stories one keeps hearing

about amalgam.

I deeply regret that decision.

Okay, the glass ceramic stuff looks good, but what`s the use if you can`t

bite on it. Actually, I can hardly drink because those two teeth are very

temperature sensitive now.

The doc says it`s not the glass ceramic which is conducting the

temperature. It`s the glue. The development of that sort of glue is not

finalized yet, he says. That of course helps me a lot -- "we`re working on

it" (the same old story).

To replace the glass ceramic with amalgam is also not possible because in

order to put the glass ceramic in you have to take away too much of the

actual tooth.

Anyway, it`s a mess. I just wanted to warn you since this is the

conference for practical solutions and experiences.

By the way, Kasiraj told me he is having the exactly same trouble.

I excanged all my amalgam fillings (around 14 of them) with this other

stuff, and I never had any problems. I thought it was some plastic, though.

Regarding problems with tooth fillings, that Brahma-muhurta described in

the text I am presently commenting on, I have something to add.

First of all, this photopolymer (plastic) fillings that are often used

instead of amalgam do not last very long. I did mine 4-5 years ago and

most of them start to whither away (cracks appear between the filling and

the tooth).

Therefore I am now considering to change at least the bad ones to

something better. What is better? I`d like to ask Brahma about how he

solved his problems. I guess he can still chew somehow or other, since he

does not look too skinny. Does that mean it is ok now with those glass

fillings?

If one makes gold fillings, is still the same problem there with the

cement causing different reactions? Or is it only for the glass fillings?

In my case the doc made a negative of all the teeth, sent that to a lab

which produced a positive glass ceramic filling, which he later glued into

the hole of the tooth. He definitely used a glue, not some photopolymer.
